The sun has already gone down over the still waters,
The moving wolves fill the snow-covered valleys
With nerve-racking howling.
Ravens are flying, painting the sky black,
They are calling me the way I called you when my soul was starving ...
My dark desire still finds the way to you, 'though you are dead ...
Embraced by eternal twilight, the air is freezing cold.
Black shadows weave my burial gown
And through the gloomy forest I can see your dead altar.
My wild and dark urges cannot be controlled.
Your seduction is still so strong that I see you as living ...
The line is so fine between life and death ...
I wish you would loosen my thorn collar ..
The God of death has dressed me in black yet again, I can not speak ...
I am slowly pulling off your shroud the beasts covered you with,
Touching your bright, frozen white skin,
While my dagger is letting my evil blood to cover your body,
So your silver light can reign over your dark earth again.

Absolutely amazing album. It’s blowing my mind that these guys aren’t more known than this. Killer evil tremolo riffs, harsh high-pitched screams, everything’s oozing evil from every pore. Support this band, they’re going to become pretty big in the next few years. \m/ sakrifilth

Can you have your black metal with no moronic samples, with guitars downtuned to drill holes in your very self, hypnotizing bass lines, drums that are something more than blast beats and vocals that don't need to be soaked in reverb, and on top of it fast, melodic, headbanging and catchy?
Yes.
p.s. my grandma used to say: never judge a metal album by its intro. YomaBarr
Another scorcher from the phenomenal one-man black metal outfit STARER, with mind-flaying riffs and eerie tremolo-picked melodies. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 31, 2023
